Financial Manager / Controller (m/w/d)

Your mission:

  • You prepare forecasts and plan budgets for our shipping and service companies.
  • You compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and present them to management.
  • You further develop and optimize key performance indicators to provide meaningful decision-making bases.
  • You prepare target–actual comparisons, variance analyses, and ad-hoc evaluations.
  • You prepare and process financing applications together with the Director of Finance.
  • You serve as one of the points of contact for the group’s financing banks.
  • You work closely with the Director of Finance as well as with the executive management.

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification, e.g., as a bank clerk (m/f/d).
  • You bring at least five years of professional experience in finance, controlling, or accounting.
  • Ideally, you have industry knowledge; however, this is not a requirement.
  • Your English skills are good to very good.
  • You have strong proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, and ideally also in common accounting software.
  • You possess a strong analytical mindset and a high level of numerical competence.
  • You are a true team player, demonstrate initiative and independence, and have the potential to represent our Director of Finance in the future and take on managerial responsibilities in the medium term.
